Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka state, is popularly known as the Garden city as well as Silicon Valley of India. The city is situated at 1000 meters above mean sea level with inhabitants of more than 5 million people. It projects a majestic mosaic of scenic splendor, celebrated beauty and historic spots surrounded by pleasant and salubrious weather throughout the year. November is the ideal month to visit Bangalore. The temperature ranges between 150 C in night to 280 C during daytime accompanied by gentle and soothing breeze.

Arrival at Bangalore

The city is well connected by rail, road and air. Bengaluru International Airport (BIA) which is 40 minutes drive from the city is well connected to all the international and domestic airports of India. Chennai airport is another international airport, which is 300 Kilometer from Bangalore by rail and 30 minutes by air flight. In addition to this, there are several international flights to Bangalore from Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Middle East, London and New York; and several international flights from all over globe to Mumbai airport. There are frequent flights that take one hour and twenty minutes to reach Bangalore from Mumbai. Arrangements will be made to receive the delegates on November 08, 09 and 10, 2009 at Bangalore airport and railway station. Delegates are requested to contact the reception desks arranged at the airport and railway station. Delegates are requested to
inform the Secretariat preferably by August 31, 2009 about their confirmed travel plans in the enclosed Travel Plan Form D.

Letter of Invitation

Delegates are requested to contact the Central Secretariat of the Conference in case they need a letter of invitation to participate in the Conference or to obtain a visa.

Official Language The Official language of the Conference is English.
